Preaching in The Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim stated that any person who claims to worship God while demanding personal freedom fundamentally misunderstands the meaning of worship.
According to him, worship means total devotion, bringing oneself entirely under God’s guidance and leadership, making independence incompatible with genuine worship. He added that true worship means depending on God and living according to His instructions.
Dr Ephraim further revealed that those who attend church yet resist God’s instructions are not exercising freedom but rather exhibiting what he described as demonic rebellion.
He warned that individuals who claim Christianity has “entangled” believers are themselves not true Christians and are being used as agents to corrupt the minds of sincere worshippers. He pointed out that genuine Christians are defined by obedience to the laws of God.
Dr Ephraim then showed that believers cannot claim to worship God while engaging in fornication, alcohol consumption, and ancestral traditions and customs, stating plainly that such persons worship demons, not God.
He concluded that the only freedom a true worshipper should seek is freedom from evil spirits, urging believers to distance themselves from anyone promoting a contrary mindset and to remain committed to God’s principles and live according to His word.
