Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim drew a striking comparison between today’s generation and the days of Noah, warning that many people today would have rejected Noah’s warning had they lived in his time. He explained that in Genesis 6, all the people on earth were evil, with wicked hearts and minds fixed on sin, to the point that God found no righteous person among them except Noah.

He noted that despite the overwhelming wickedness of that generation, Noah stood out as the only righteous preacher who spoke the truth about the coming flood and salvation through the ark. According to him, anyone who believed that no one on earth was good would have dismissed Noah’s message and consequently perished in the flood.

Dr Dadzie Ephraim stated that if Noah lived among today’s people, he would similarly be mocked and accused of considering himself holier than others. He stressed, however, that Noah was genuinely the only one doing God’s authentic work at the time, and that people who refuse to accept the truth tend to generalize and claim that everyone is equally evil.

He explained that such generalization is a mistaken mindset, since what matters is not popular opinion but the one whom God accepts, adding that the person God accepts always stands out distinctly from the rest. He recalled that at the end of the flood, only Noah and his family were saved, proving that Noah alone had told the truth.

Dr Dadzie Ephraim warned that in these end times, the proliferation of fake churches and preachers should not lead people to be deceived that all churches and preachers are the same, since God can choose an exceptional individual, just as He did with Noah, to preach salvation.

He concluded by cautioning believers not to be deceived by what the majority accepts, stressing that a church or pastor accepted by the whole world but rejected by God amounts to nothing. He urged people to be wise and seek out the church where God’s presence is evident, where salvation is genuinely preached, so they can live holy lives and enter the kingdom of God.
