Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has urged Christians not to judge a church by the size of its congregation, saying large crowds often gather because of common physical interests like music or football, but those reasons will not help them in the pursuit of salvation, so you must examine why others are attracted to a particular place.
According to him, believers should carefully determine whether a church leads people to God or merely satisfies physical desires. He argued that a church should be evaluated by its message of salvation rather than its popularity or public appeal.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim further warned against blindly following the crowd, describing such behavior as a form of generalization that prevents people from exercising spiritual discernment. He said not every church can offer salvation because they are under demonic control.
He noted that many people attend churches because of family influence, friendships, marriage prospects, business opportunities, or other physical benefits. He maintained that these motivations miss the primary purpose of the church, which he said is to save people from sin and lead them to God.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim also claimed that evil spirits seek to divert people’s attention from spiritual transformation by encouraging them to pursue churches that focus on prosperity and personal gain instead of confronting sinful behavior.
He concluded by warning believers that evil spirits want to keep people comfortably under their influence so Christians should make the pursuit of God and eternal life their foremost priority.
