Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has urged anyone who truly wants to be with God not to let the sinful lifestyles of some church people or fake pastors discourage them.
He said if one truly wants to be with God in their heart, they will seek Him with all their heart and not be offended by how others live.
According to him, it is unwise to let the bad lifestyles of people offend you when you will also give account of your own life to God, stressing that if you don’t live your life the way God wants you to live, your life is nothing.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie further warned that the acceptance of certain behaviours by society does not mean they are acceptable to God. He said many people are deceived by following what the majority considers normal instead of measuring their lives by God’s standards.
Referencing Genesis 6, he described this mindset as living according to generalization, which he said deceived the people of Noah’s generation who had embraced all manner of evil and wickedness, but then Noah and his family chose to live differently and were the only ones whose lives pleased God.
He explained that life is about living to please God, so thinking that life is about living as everyone lives is where people go wrong.
He said that with a generalized mindset, people copy blindly, judge those who live to please God wrongly, and cannot see good people or a good church to belong to.
Dr Ephraim concluded with advice that anyone who wants to please God and live forever with Him should not look at worldly lifestyles and live the same, else they will forget that God will judge every life after death.
