Government has submitted its annual staffing report on the Office of the President to Parliament, revealing that 808 individuals were working at the Presidency as of December 31, 2025.

The report, prepared in accordance with Section 11 of the Presidential Office Act, 1993 (Act 463), provides a detailed breakdown of personnel attached to the Presidency during the 2025 reporting period.

According to the document, the workforce comprises 233 political appointees and 575 public sector employees, including civil servants and officers seconded from various state institutions.

The report indicates that four Ministers of State served at the Presidency during the period under review.

It further lists 39 Presidential Staffers and 190 other political appointees working within the Office of the President.

The public sector component includes civil servants in administrative, executive, records, secretarial, budget, procurement, supply chain management, and presidential household roles.

Also included are personnel seconded from institutions such as the Department of Parks and Gardens, the Ghana Health Service, the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department, the Ghana Audit Service, the Public Works Department (Prestige), and the Ghana Postal Company.

The report confirms that a total of 808 staff members were attached to the Presidency during the reporting period.

The submission forms part of the Presidency’s legal requirement to provide Parliament with an annual update on its staffing structure and composition.

The full report, containing the names, job titles, and grade levels of all personnel, has been laid before Parliament for consideration.
