On the Ability to See series, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim stated that many people do not truly know God because they assume that whatever is accepted in their country is also accepted by God. According to him, God existed before all nations and therefore no country has the authority to decide how God should be worshiped.
He explained that nations are rather expected to worship God according to His own standards and not according to cultural practices or national laws. He stressed that what a country accepts as normal does not automatically make it acceptable before God.
Dr. Ephraim further stated that God’s Word applies to every nation and will judge all people regardless of what their societies permit or celebrate.
Referring to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, he explained that God showed through His judgment that no nation can violate His laws without consequences. According to him, even if certain lifestyles or practices are legalized and accepted in some countries, it does not mean that God approves of them.
He emphasized that the church and marriage were established by God and not by human governments, insisting that God’s authority remains above the laws and opinions of nations.
