Bishop Daniel Obinim has disclosed what he claims are the financial and property demands made by his estranged wife, gospel musician Florence Obinim, as part of their divorce settlement.

In a video circulating online, the founder of the International Godsway Church said Florence was seeking GH¢2 million, properties in Accra and Spain, a monthly allowance of GH¢10,000, and the church’s headquarters at Tema.

The disclosure comes amid renewed attention surrounding the couple’s marriage, which lasted more than two decades. In September 2026, Florence reportedly initiated a traditional divorce process by returning traditional drinks to Bishop Obinim’s family.

Detailing the alleged demands, Bishop Obinim said his former wife was requesting an apartment at 99 Nii Quaye Street in Accra, as well as Abroso Guest House.

“She is asking for GH¢2 million and an apartment in Accra at 99 Nii Quaye Street, Abroso Guest House. If she wants that, she should go and complete it because it got burnt recently,” he said.

He further claimed that Florence wanted a house in Barcelona, Spain, and a monthly payment of GH¢10,000, which she reportedly intends to use for healthcare.

“She wants my house in Spain, Barcelona, and she also wants a GH¢10,000 monthly allowance as something she would use for her healthcare,” he said.

Bishop Obinim also alleged that Florence was seeking ownership of the church’s headquarters in Tema. He questioned whether she could take over the facility and preach from its altar, while expressing dissatisfaction with the demands he attributed to her.

He described the requests as unreasonable and suggested that she seek further legal representation to pursue her case.

The claims have added another layer to the public controversy surrounding the couple’s separation. However, the demands have been detailed through Bishop Obinim’s account, and the full terms of any proposed divorce settlement have not been independently established in the information available.

The developments come as the couple’s reported separation draws public interest, with questions remaining over how the divorce process and any potential settlement will be resolved.
