Ghanaian TikToker and influencer Asantewaa has spoken publicly about her strained relationship with her younger brother, Kay Vile, making an emotional statement during a TikTok Live session that has sparked widespread concern online.
In the video, on July 15, 2026, Asantewaa said she has been carrying emotional pain over the breakdown of their relationship and appealed for the opportunity to explain her side of the story.
While addressing viewers, she made a distressing statement suggesting she feared for her own well-being if she was unable to express what she had been going through.
“If you don’t allow me to let this pain in me come out, I promise you guys you won’t see me alive. I’m almost done. I won’t be here for long. I see all my loved ones calling me. That is why the line keeps breaking. Please let me let it out. I’m doing this not because I want people to feel sad for me. No, I need to make things clear,” she said.
Asantewaa said she still does not understand what caused the rift between them, explaining that she woke up one day to discover her brother had blocked her on all the social media platforms where they were connected.
“I woke up one day and realised I had been blocked on all the social media platforms where my brother and I followed each other, for no reason. But the kind of ego my brother has… I’ve lived with him all these years. He doesn’t even care how you feel,” she said.
She also recounted what she described as one of the most painful moments during their estrangement, saying she was prevented from visiting her brother while he was receiving treatment at Ridge Hospital.
According to Asantewaa, although several family members were allowed to see him, a nurse stopped her from entering after informing her that her brother had instructed hospital staff not to allow her into his room.
“Because he was in a critical condition, almost all my family members were there. I saw a cousin come out of the room and was about to enter when a nurse stopped me and said my brother had instructed them not to allow me in. I was embarrassed. I was sad. Whatever the issue was, I still don’t know, and I left,” she added.
The video has since generated widespread reactions on social media, with many users expressing concern over the emotional remarks made by the influencer.
