Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has announced plans to release a new exposé examining Angela List’s Nguvu/Konongo Mines and the wider implications of the dispute for Ghana’s gold sector.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, October 29, 2026, Anas said The New Crusading Guide and Tiger Eye conducted the investigation, drawing on documents, court records, and other findings gathered during their work.

Titled “The Stakes and Mystery of Angela List’s Nguvu/Konongo Mines”, the investigation is expected to examine the dispute, the relationships surrounding the mining operations and what the developments could mean for the state.

Anas suggested that the team had uncovered information beyond what has so far been publicly discussed, although he did not disclose specific names or figures ahead of the publication.

“The New Crusading Guide and Tiger Eye peered behind the gold veil. What we found sits in documents, in court records, and in places no one wanted us to look,” he wrote.

He indicated that the full details would be made public when the investigation is released, hinting that the findings could generate considerable interest.

“Some stories are reported. This one had to be dug out. No names yet. No numbers yet. Just this: when the full file opens, a lot of people will be reading it twice and some will wish it had never been written,” he added.

The journalist also raised questions about the broader consequences of the dispute, particularly its potential impact on Ghana’s gold industry and the financial interests of the state.

Among the issues the investigation is expected to address are the networks and relationships underpinning List’s mining operations and the possible losses Ghana could suffer while the dispute continues.

“How is the fight reshaping Ghana’s gold sector and what is the state losing while it rages on? What networks and relationships underpin List’s operations? Who and who are behind. We unmask and break it down,” Anas stated.

Although he did not provide a specific release date, he urged the public to watch out for further updates.

The announcement has drawn attention to the forthcoming investigation, but its findings and the evidence supporting the claims will only become clear when the full exposé is published.
