The Director of Operations of the United Party, Hopeson Adorye, has alleged that investigators from the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) uncovered a real estate development linked to New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications officer Dennis Miracles Aboagye during an ongoing investigation.

Speaking in an interview on Accra FM on October 27, 2026, Adorye claimed that after the estate was discovered, individuals managing the facility mounted a signboard belonging to another real estate company at its entrance.

He alleged that the move was intended to make investigators believe the property belonged to the other company and conceal the identity of its actual owners.

According to Adorye, EOCO officials, led by Raymond Archer and his team, later visited the offices of the company whose signboard had appeared at the estate to investigate the matter.

He claimed that the company’s management denied any knowledge of the property and said they were surprised to learn that their signboard had been displayed at the premises.

Adorye further alleged that representatives of the company subsequently accompanied EOCO officials to the estate and helped remove the signboard after establishing, according to his account, that the property was not theirs.

In his remarks, Adorye described the alleged discovery as an additional development in the investigation, claiming that it came after EOCO had seized 17 other properties.

“Apart from the 17 properties that EOCO has seized, they have discovered an estate. Mysteriously, they went for an original estate signboard to portray that the estate belonged to the said company,” he said.

He added that the company’s representatives had to accompany the investigators to remove the signboard before leaving the premises.

Adorye suggested that the alleged discovery formed part of EOCO’s ongoing investigations involving Aboagye.

However, the claims about the estate, the signboard and its alleged connection to Aboagye were made by Adorye during the radio interview. An official statement from EOCO confirming the specific allegations was not included in the information available.
