Inter Milan climbed to the summit of Serie A following a comfortable 2–0 victory over Lazio at San Siro, thanks to goals from Lautaro Martínez and Ange-Yoan Bonny.

The Nerazzurri struck early when Alessandro Bastoni intercepted a pass from Gustav Isaksen and set up Martínez, who calmly slotted the ball into the top-right corner to give Inter the lead.

Ange-Yoan Bonny doubled the advantage just after the hour mark, tapping in a low cross from Federico Dimarco from close range.

Inter appeared to score again minutes later when Piotr Zieliński netted, but the effort was ruled out by VAR due to a handball by Dimarco in the build-up.

Lazio’s best chance came from an Oliver Provstgaard header that rattled the crossbar, but they were unable to trouble Inter goalkeeper André Onana.

The win moves Inter to 24 points from 11 matches, level with Roma at the top but ahead on goal difference, giving the Nerazzurri a boost in the early Serie A title race.
