Preaching in The Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim declared that one of the clearest signs that many people do not know God is their belief that they can do things secretly without God seeing, stating that the very word “secret” is a human word that does not exist in the spiritual realm.
He explained that the Lord God Almighty is omniscient and that in the spiritual realm, everything is bare and nothing is hidden, warning that the mindset of “God will not see” is a deception planted by demons to embolden people to do evil in hiding.
Citing Daniel 2:22, Luke 8:17, and Hebrews 4:13, Dr. Dadzie Ephraim established scriptural backing for his position, noting that God reveals deep secret things, that nothing hidden will fail to come to light, and that all things are naked and open to His eyes.
Dr. Kuuku Dadzie then referenced the account of King Jeroboam, whose wife disguised herself to visit the prophet Ahijah, only for God to reveal her true identity to the prophet before she even entered, demonstrating that no disguise or secrecy can withstand God’s knowledge.
Dr. Dadzie Ephraim further cited how God consistently exposed the secret ambushes of the king of Syria against Israel through prophet Elisha, and how Judas, despite conspiring privately with the chief priests to betray the Lord Jesus, was exposed by the Lord Jesus at the table of the Last Supper.
He concluded that those who plot evil secretly and think God will not see have simply forgotten who God is, urging churchgoers to understand that every secret deed is recorded before God and will be brought into judgment.
