Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim said salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ had been rejected by worldly people and even some Christians who did not accept Jesus as the only way to God the Father.
He said some people had been led to believe that there were many ways to God, while others denied that Jesus was God, thereby rejecting the biblical message from John 3:16 that He is the Savior of the world.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim warned that rejecting God’s word about judgment was dangerous, stressing that people should remember biblical events such as the flood and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
He said people should not convince themselves that God’s warnings would not come to pass simply because they refused to believe them, emphasizing that God does not lie and His word remains true.
Dr Ephraim urged people to accept God’s offer of salvation while they were still alive, comparing rejection of salvation to an animal refusing to leave a cage even when its way to freedom had been opened.
He said no matter what a person had done, anyone who genuinely turned to God, accepted Jesus as Savior and lived according to His word could receive forgiveness from the merciful God, describing this as the wisest decision a person could make.
