Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim explained that Bible prophecies yet to be fulfilled exist to warn humanity, so that people will live right and avoid destruction.
He said most of them concern demonic activity on earth and the second coming of Jesus Christ, who will destroy evil powers, save those who live by His word, and create a new heaven and earth for His people.
He stressed that those who live in sin and refuse to repent face destruction, but that God takes no pleasure in anyone perishing. According to him, the warnings are given in love, so that people will listen, change and be saved.
Citing 2 Peter 3:7, 10 and 12, Dr Kuuku Dadzie said the present heavens and earth are being kept for fire until the day of judgment, and that those who doubt this ignore history, since God has destroyed the earth before.
He pointed to the destruction of the world in Noah’s time, recorded in Genesis 6:13, and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by fire as examples of earlier divine judgments, noting that the site in Israel remains barren today as evidence of God’s wrath on rebellious people.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie said no demon, scientist or human being can stop what God has spoken, and that refusing to believe His word amounts to calling Him a liar. He added that it is demons who discourage belief with the hope that people will share their eternal fate, and that the prophecy of Apostle John will likewise come to pass.
He also noted that some prophecies came from Jesus Himself, who warned in Matthew 24 that deception would increase before His return and so Dr Kuuku Dadzie urged listeners to live for God Almighty who is the only One who can save humanity.
