Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim said a church that is truly of God should reflect God’s nature through holiness, faithfulness, obedience to His word, and the presence of His power.
He explained that God’s church should be free from what he described as filth, while pastors and members should be truthful, faithful, and committed to obeying God’s laws and principles.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim further cited practices concerning the abstinence from fornication, observance of the distinctions in dresses between men and women, and adherence to the instructions on head coverings during worship all based on scriptural references to distinguish God’s people.
He also stated that the true church should demonstrate God’s power through the casting out of demons, speaking in tongues, and divine healing, which he presented as signs for the world to recognize God’s church.
He further warned believers against joining churches without examining their adherence to God’s word, arguing that some churches contradict biblical principles by tolerating sin, rejecting repentance, and allowing practices that God forbids.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim concluded by urging people seeking God and salvation to look for a church that reflects His true nature and upholds His standards, stressing that only such a church truly belongs to Him.
