Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has urged churchgoers to measure a church by its ability to lead people to salvation rather than by its size because if even 1 billion people attend but continue unchanged in their sinful lifestyles, it means nothing since it does not threaten demonic influence – it is only the church that leads people to holiness that demons hate.
According to him, the Lord Jesus came to set captives free and reveal the true way of worshipping God. He said Jesus, like Noah, faithfully preached salvation despite being rejected, insulted, and accused by many who refused to accept His message.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim explained that the majority of people in Jesus’ time remained committed to their existing beliefs and rejected His teachings. He cited examples including the Pharisees’ opposition, Nathanael’s initial prejudice, and the many followers who abandoned Jesus because they found His message difficult.
The preacher argued that judging truth by public opinion is spiritually dangerous pointing out that if people had lived during Jesus’ earthly ministry, many would have rejected Him simply because the majority did not believe in Him.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim further encouraged believers not to accept or reject ideas based on what most people approve of, but to examine everything according to God’s word. He warned that following worldly opinions and trends instead of Christ leads people away from salvation.
He concluded by urging Christians to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and live according to His word rather than the world’s standards, saying Christ alone can grant an eternal place for the soul.
