Preaching in The Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim urged Christians to measure their lives by God’s word rather than the teachings of pastors who tolerate sinful behavior. He said entry into God’s Kingdom depends on God’s standards of holiness, not on what some false pastors permit.
According to him, a genuine pastor teaches the truth, leads people away from sin, and helps believers live to please God. He argued that pastors who approve of practices contrary to Scripture mislead their congregations and fail in their calling.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim further blamed the growing acceptance of behaviours such as fornication, consuming alcohol and pornography that he described as sinful on the influence of false pastors who are also involved in such behaviours.
The preacher also expressed concern that some churches encourage relationships and lifestyles that contradict God’s word. He questioned teachings that permit intimacy before marriage and added that intellectual churchgoers who can read the Bible behave as if they are illiterates who don’t understand what fornication is.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie painted a picture of the current church era where pimps are in the pulpit having intimacy with ladies in their churches, prostitutes call themselves evangelists, and churchgoers behave as if holiness is an impossible requirement that God demands while genuine Christians who live according to God’s word are seen as strange people.
He concluded by pointing out how churchgoers do not go to church for salvation but for their selfish interests and advised people who want to go to God to be under the genuine pastor who can see the spiritual condition of the church and faithfully guide them toward God’s Kingdom.
