In the Ability to See series, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim stated that the church was founded by the Lord Jesus Christ and therefore every congregation is expected to operate according to the divine structure He established.
He explained that when churches deviate from this biblical order, they become vulnerable to spiritual corruption and misrepresentation, which he described as the influence of false spiritual forces using individuals to damage the image of Christ’s church.
According to him, this deviation is one of the reasons many people have lost trust in church life today.
Dr. Ephraim further noted that public perception of the church has been deeply affected by complaints and allegations against some church leaders, including claims of fraud, abuse, and spiritual disappointment, which have caused many believers to stop attending church.
However, he stressed that the problem is not only with leaders but also with church members who do not understand the biblical structure of the church.
He emphasized that when believers study and follow the scriptural model of the church, they are less likely to be deceived or spiritually misled, and can worship God in what he described as a properly ordered and peaceful environment.
