Flagbearer hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and former General Secretary of the party, Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, has vowed to restore the commitment, unity, and dedication that defined the party at its inception.
Speaking in an interview with Agya Kwabena on UTV, monitored by AP Media on Friday, September 26, 2025, Ing. Agyepong outlined his vision to rebuild the country and revive the NPP’s true spirit.

He recalled that the founding members of the NPP in 1991 and 1992 embodied a deep sense of sacrifice and loyalty to both party and country. According to him, those values have weakened over time, creating disillusionment within the party’s grassroots.
“The founding members of our party were committed, united, and dedicated. That is the NPP I know, and that is the spirit I want to bring back,” he declared.

Positioning his candidacy as one of service and renewal, Ing. Agyepong emphasized that his leadership would serve as a reminder to both the NPP and Ghana of the beauty and fulfillment in serving one’s party and nation selflessly.
“My candidature will serve as a reminder to the NPP and Ghana that there is beauty and fulfillment in serving both your party and your country,” he stressed.

As he continues his campaign, Ing. Agyepong has made unity, service, and rebuilding the core pillars of his message, presenting himself as the candidate who can heal divisions within the NPP and prepare Ghana for a stronger future.
