A heavy downpour, coupled with strong winds, caused significant damage at the A&C Mall in East Legon, Accra, on Tuesday evening.
The storm led to the collapse of the solar panel car park shed, affecting more than 50 vehicles.
Videos circulating on social media show the car park shelter being torn apart by the wind, with several cars trapped beneath the debris.
The damage has resulted in substantial losses for both vehicle owners and the mall itself.
In addition to the shed collapse, fallen trees in the car park also caused damage to some of the vehicles.
