Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has revealed that love, marriage and marital intimacy all originate from the God of the Bible. In his view, anyone who rejects the Bible but still marries, loves or has intimacy with a partner is drawing on God’s gifts while denying Him, and so brings a curse on themselves.
He also addressed people who once used the Bible to build a ministry and gain wealth without believing it. Dr Ephraim urged such persons to give their money and property to charity and start afresh, saying that wealth acquired through a book they do not believe in leaves them under a curse.
He explained that many national laws, including those against murder, adultery, stealing and perjury, reflect God’s laws recorded in Exodus 20. According to him, these biblical principles have helped establish order and peaceful living in societies.
Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim described the Bible as the foundation of a good moral life, adding that nothing in it is destructive or deceptive. He warned that rejecting biblical teachings could lead people into demonic lifestyle like alcohol consumption, sexual immorality and intimacy outside marriage.
Addressing claims that the Bible has been altered, he said Jewish rabbis and scholars examined the Scriptures over many centuries before their authentication as God’s word and maintained that the biblical accounts of places such as Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Gaza and Rome are true since such places continue to exist.
He concluded by encouraging people to live according to God’s word, saying that obedience to biblical principles would help them lead good lives and escape hellfire.
