Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has urged Christians to remain discerning and guard against deception as they consider the end-time prophecies of Jesus Christ in Matthew 24. He said the Bible contains God’s truth, and believers should not allow false teachings or spiritual deception to make them doubt what Christ foretold.

He highlighted Jesus’ warnings about wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, hatred, betrayal and increasing lawlessness. Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim also pointed to the rise of false prophets and people claiming to be Christ, stressing that believers should not be misled by impressive signs or claims that contradict Scripture.

According to Dr Kuuku Dadzie, Christ’s prophecy about false prophets is already evident in the world today, making His other warnings equally deserving of serious attention. He maintained that Jesus’ return in power and glory will also come to pass, urging people not to dismiss biblical prophecy as untrue.

He described the biblical teaching about hell as one of the most serious warnings in Scripture, saying people should not wait until death to debate its reality. Citing passages including Luke 16, Matthew 13 and Mark 9, he said Jesus described hell as a place of torment and warned those who live in sin about its consequences.

Dr Kuuku Dadzie further referenced Revelation 20:15 and 21:8, which warn of judgment for those whose names are not written in the Book of Life, including the unbelieving, sexually immoral, idolaters, murderers and liars. He also cautioned against cowardice among believers and religious leaders who may avoid speaking the truth because of fear or financial interests.

He concluded that the Bible’s warnings about judgment and hell should lead people to take God’s Word seriously and live according to it because deception seeks to keep people from knowing these truths, whereas the Bible was given for humanity’s good, salvation and protection from the consequences of persistent sin.
