Preacher Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has cautioned that many modern marriages are failing because couples neglect God’s foundational principles for a successful union.
Speaking during his “Ability to See” series, Dr. Ephraim warned that entering into marriage without divine guidance can lead to tragic outcomes — including mental breakdowns, death, or even eternal damnation.
He identified four key reasons for marital breakdowns:
- Marrying without involving God
- Pouring libation and inviting demonic influences
- Excessive family interference
- Couples disregarding spiritual and moral order, doing things their own way
Dr. Ephraim particularly criticized some mothers who, out of jealousy, interfere in their sons’ marriages, often causing irreparable damage. He reminded them that they, too, were once wives married to other women’s sons.
He urged couples to prioritize God’s direction and principles in their relationships, emphasizing that following God’s way is the only path to lasting and fulfilling marriages.
“If you want your marriage to work, you must do it God’s way,” he concluded.
