President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to repositioning Ghana as a respected and influential nation on the global stage.
Addressing journalists at his first media engagement on Wednesday, September 10, President Mahama expressed confidence in the country’s potential for renewal, with the support of the Ghanaian people.
“With your continued trust and support, I am confident that we will not only meet these goals but also build a nation that serves the hopes of this generation and the aspirations of generations yet unborn,” he stated.
Mahama emphasized his administration’s focus on rebuilding the economy, reforming public institutions, and improving service delivery nationwide.
“I am resolute in laying foundations for economic recovery, resetting our institutions to reflect the demands of modern governance, and enhancing service delivery for every Ghanaian,” he said.
He further pledged to honour the vision of Ghana’s founding leaders by pursuing economic independence and national self-reliance.
“I am driven by a deep determination to see the dreams of our forebears for an economically independent and self-reliant Ghana realised in our lifetime,” he added.
President Mahama concluded with a strong assurance that Ghana will reclaim its position as a key player and respected voice in international affairs.
