Vidisha, India – A 23-year-old woman, Parinita Jain, died suddenly while dancing at her sister’s wedding in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh.
The MBA graduate from Indore was celebrating with over 200 guests when she collapsed on stage while dancing to a Bollywood song.
Family members, including doctors, immediately attempted CPR, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Parinita was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.
Tragically, this isn’t the family’s first experience with such a loss; Parinita’s younger brother also died of a heart attack at the age of 12, suggesting a possible genetic predisposition to heart conditions.
Videos of the incident have circulated on social media, sparking online discussion and highlighting a recent trend of similar collapses at social gatherings.
The joyous occasion has been overshadowed by the tragic loss, leaving Parinita’s family and friends devastated.
