Two people have died and another is in critical condition following violent clashes at Mpasaaso Number 2 in the Ahafo Ano Southwest District of the Ashanti Region.
Kojo Asare, a local youth leader, confirmed the incident in an interview.
He explained that the community received a distress call from neighbors who discovered the lifeless bodies. Upon arriving at the scene, Asare found two individuals dead from gunshot wounds and a third struggling for his life.
One of the deceased, identified as Borga, was reportedly a leader of a group involved in violent activities. Asare noted that Borga had been shot and also sustained severe injuries, including cut wrists, despite being armed at the scene.
Police have launched investigations to determine the cause of the clashes and plan the next steps in addressing the incident.
