In the ongoing Ability to See series, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has stated that praying upward toward the skies and receiving an answer does not automatically mean God responded.
He explained that the heavenly realm is not occupied by God alone, noting that spiritual forces of darkness also operate there.
According to him, people who assume that any response to upward prayer comes from God lack true knowledge of God and expose themselves to spiritual deception.
He further warned that prayers made without clearly directing them to God through the right spiritual understanding can be answered by evil spirits.
Dr. Ephraim referenced ancient practices where people worshipped the sun, moon, and stars, leading to beliefs in sun gods and moon gods.
He emphasized that such practices show how easily people can be misled when they do not know God, stressing that clarity in whom one prays to is essential to avoid deception.
