Accra Hearts of Oak have dismissed reports claiming that goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is on the verge of joining a French club.

In a statement, the Phobians described the reports as false and misleading, insisting that no agreement has been reached for the transfer of their first-choice goalkeeper.

The club urged supporters and the general public to disregard the speculation, stressing that Benjamin Asare remains a contracted player of Hearts of Oak.

According to the club, any discussions regarding the future of the Black Stars goalkeeper would be communicated through official channels and not through unverified reports circulating on social media and online platforms.

Benjamin Asare has been one of Hearts of Oak’s standout performers in recent seasons and has also established himself as Ghana’s first-choice goalkeeper following a string of impressive displays for the Black Stars.

The shot-stopper has attracted attention with his performances at both club and international level, leading to recurring transfer speculation in recent months. However, Hearts of Oak maintain that reports of an imminent move to France are inaccurate and have not been sanctioned by the club.

The club further called on fans to rely on official communication from Hearts of Oak regarding player transfers and contractual matters.
