Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim, in The Ability to See 239, teaches that it is a serious spiritual error for people to choose their own leaders in the church.
Referencing King Jeroboam, he explained that allowing anyone to become a priest led to corruption and demonic influence, as those not chosen by God took on sacred roles.
The message emphasized that spiritual leadership is a divine appointment, not a human decision, and warned that practices such as voting for church leaders turn the church into a human institution rather than a divine one.
The teaching further highlighted that throughout biblical history, God Himself appointed leaders, citing Moses and Joshua, as well as Elijah and Elisha, to show that succession was always directed by God.
He further stressed that when a true leader is taken away, God reveals the successor in advance, ensuring continuity according to His will rather than human preference, reinforcing the call for believers to follow divine principles over democratic systems.
