England will face Spain, Croatia, and the Czech Republic in the group stage of the 2026-27 UEFA Nations League, while Wales has been drawn alongside defending champions Portugal.

Both England and Wales secured promotion to League A during the 2024-25 competition and will also face Denmark and Norway as they aim to qualify for the knockout stages.

Scotland, participating in their first World Cup since 1998, will compete in League B against Switzerland, Slovenia, and North Macedonia.

Other League B matchups include Northern Ireland facing Hungary, Ukraine, and Georgia, while the Republic of Ireland will take on Israel, Austria, and Kosovo.

The fifth edition of the UEFA Nations League runs from September 2026 to June 2027 and features four groups of four teams in Leagues A, B, and C, with two groups of three teams in League D.

Portugal claimed their second Nations League title last summer, defeating Spain in a penalty shootout, while England, runners-up to Spain at Euro 2024, previously topped their group in the 2018-19 Nations League when drawn alongside Spain and Croatia.

The draw coincided with the announcement that Thomas Tuchel has extended his contract as England manager through Euro 2028.
