Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim (Dr. KDE) has cautioned that a key indicator of not truly knowing God is the way people pray. He explained that prayers not offered in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ can be answered by any spirit, including demonic forces.
He emphasized that just because a prayer appears to be answered does not automatically mean God is involved, noting that many are misled into thinking God responded when their prayers were not made in Jesus’ name.
Referencing John 14:13–14, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie highlighted that God specifically answers prayers made in Jesus’ name. He warned that vague or generic prayers, such as “Oh God, help me,” can inadvertently invite deceptive spiritual responses.
He urged believers to pray directly to God the Creator through Jesus Christ, stressing that failure to do so has led many into deception by evil spirits masquerading as God.
