New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful, Dr. Bryan Acheampong, has urged party delegates to reject any aspirant who lacks the ability to unite the party and win votes across all constituencies ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to delegates on the second day of his second-leg campaign tour in the Eastern Region on Monday, January 19, Dr. Acheampong called for support for his candidacy, saying the party needs a leader who can rebuild confidence, reconnect with disillusioned supporters, and lead the NPP back to power.

He stressed that the next NPP flagbearer must be capable of mobilising grassroots supporters nationwide and campaigning in every part of the country to secure electoral victory.

“I have visited all the constituencies in the country. Anyone who wants to lead this party must be able to campaign everywhere in Ghana,” he said.

“You cannot refuse to go to certain places and still expect the people there to vote for you. Let us choose someone who can go to every corner of the country to seek votes for our party,” Dr. Acheampong added.
