Preacher Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim, speaking on AP Radio 105.7 as part of his “Ability to See” sermon series, has urged Ghanaians to recognise the wisdom in God’s commandments, especially regarding sexual purity.
According to him, God’s instructions are not restrictive but protective — designed to prevent pain and hardship.
Focusing on the issue of premarital intimacy, Dr. Ephraim argued that many of today’s societal challenges — including child neglect, broken homes, and youth delinquency — can be traced back to disobedience in this area. “God says no intimacy before marriage because He knows the consequences,” he stated.
He lamented the rise in children born outside of stable family structures, often left without proper care, guidance, or education. These children, he noted, are more likely to face poverty, wander the streets, or even be drawn into crime.
“If people followed God’s order — marriage before intimacy — most children would be born into loving, responsible homes,” he said. Instead, he blamed “careless mothers and irresponsible fathers” for contributing to a generation of neglected children.
“When you see these children suffering, the real question is: where are their parents?” he asked pointedly.
Dr. Ephraim urged listeners to return to God’s principles to rebuild families and, by extension, society.
