The Ghana Police Service will begin screening shortlisted applicants for its 2025/2026 recruitment intake on Sunday, January 12, the Ministry of the Interior has announced.

The exercise forms part of Phase II of the Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (CSERP) process and will involve documentation verification and physical inspection. The screening is scheduled to run until February 4, 2026.

At this stage, only applicants to the Ghana Police Service have been assigned screening dates. According to the Ministry, applicants seeking enlistment into the Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service and Ghana Immigration Service will receive their screening schedules after January 15, 2026.

The recruitment portal opened on November 17 and closed on December 19, 2025, during which applicants submitted their online applications.

Shortlisted candidates are required to report to their designated centres with both original documents and photocopies. These include their application summary, biometric birth certificate, Ghana Card, Junior High School certificate, passport-sized photographs and any additional academic credentials.

The Ministry of the Interior has cautioned applicants to strictly adhere to their scheduled reporting times, warning that failure to do so may result in disqualification.

Applicants assigned to morning sessions must report by 7:00 a.m., while those scheduled for afternoon sessions are expected to be present by 12:00 noon.

Candidates will receive text message notifications with details of their screening dates, times and centres. They may also verify this information by logging onto the CSERP portal.
