Police Arrest Three Suspects in Kwabenya Home Robbery

The Ghana Police Service has arrested three individuals in connection with a robbery at a residence in Kwabenya, Greater Accra Region, following an intelligence-led operation by the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Surveillance Unit.

The incident occurred on January 18, 2026, when two armed men attacked the home, stealing several valuable items, including two iPhone 17 Pro Max phones, a gold necklace, an Apple Watch, GH¢14,000 in cash, a car key, and US$300. The robbers also forced the victim to log out of his iCloud account on one of the stolen phones.

Investigations led to the arrest of Francis Amo (aka Agogo), Anthony Boateng (aka Aisha Kojo), and Musah Ibrahim (aka Coded), who is believed to have been a receiver of the stolen items. All three suspects have admitted their involvement in the crime.

During the operation, police recovered one iPhone 17 Pro Max, an Apple Watch, and a Samsung Fold phone. A search of Anthony Boateng’s residence uncovered offensive weapons, including a truncheon, short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield.

The suspects remain in police custody to assist with further investigations. Authorities are continuing efforts to recover the remaining stolen items and apprehend anyone else linked to the robbery.
