Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, has assured that the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) program is progressing well, with no compromised dockets. He emphasized that individuals will be held accountable for their actions, stating, “People are being held accountable and will continue to be held to account as far as the ORAL program is concerned.”

Dr. Ayine defended the ORAL initiative as a key mechanism for recovering stolen state resources and promoting accountability in line with the 1992 Constitution.

Addressing allegations of secret deals, the Attorney General rejected the claims, assuring that all cases are being handled strictly according to the law. He further disclosed that 16 dockets are currently under review, undergoing thorough scrutiny to ensure legally sound outcomes.

Dr. Ayine also acknowledged concerns about the team’s workload, noting that staff are “overworked and underpaid.” These concerns were shared with Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, who visited the Attorney General and the Ministry of Justice on February 5, 2026.

The Vice President assured the Ministry of government support and confirmed that the issues of staff workload and remuneration have been noted.
