Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Minister nominee for the Ashanti Region, has committed to prioritizing the region’s development during the first three years of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

In a bid to foster progress and gain support in a region largely controlled by the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the need for a strategic development focus.

Speaking during his vetting before Parliament, Dr. Amoakohene underscored the importance of working closely with regional MPs and key stakeholders to establish a clear development framework.

He promised to tackle critical unfinished projects, especially in healthcare and road infrastructure, aiming to enhance the lives of Ashanti residents and accelerate the region’s transformation.
