Ghana’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, Ambassador Kojo Bonsu, has been honored with the title ‘Gen Z President’ by the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) in China. According to NUGS-China, the title recognizes the Ambassador’s tireless efforts in supporting and empowering students across various Chinese provinces.

Presidential Commitment and Development Call

During a recent virtual Akwaaba night ceremony, Ambassador Bonsu assured the students of President Mahama’s “unwavering commitment” to their safety and well-being.

He emphasized that students should utilize the knowledge and skills they acquire in China to actively contribute to Ghana’s development, urging them to be proactive and innovative in tackling national challenges.

The Ambassador reinforced his open-door policy, encouraging students to feel welcome to reach out to the Embassy for assistance. He also highlighted numerous opportunities available for graduates in both the public and private sectors, stressing the need for young professionals to apply their expertise to drive national growth.

To foster closer ties, Ambassador Bonsu announced upcoming initiatives aimed at strengthening the Embassy’s relationship with the students. These plans include:
