“The most recent case is the report involving a female student at KNUST and the assistant headmaster. Although the Ghana Education Service (GES) has dismissed him, we are collaborating with the police to ensure his arrest and that justice is served.”

Charles Akwasi Aidoo, the Assistant Headmaster (Academic) of KNUST SHS, was dismissed by the GES on September 29, 2025, after a video circulated on social media allegedly showing him in a compromising situation with a minor.

Dr. Lartey reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to protecting children and vulnerable individuals, emphasizing that those who engage in abuse or exploitation will face the full force of the law.
