President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed strong confidence in his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, stating that he is well-prepared to become Ghana’s next president.
Speaking during a meeting with members of Organised Labour on Tuesday, December 3, President Akufo-Addo highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s extensive experience over the past seven years, both in opposition and in government, which has equipped him with the skills needed to lead the country effectively.
The president further emphasized that voting for Dr. Bawumia is a vote for continued progress and development in Ghana.
“I have no doubt in my mind that my vice president, who has been with me for eight years in opposition and eight years in government, is now fully prepared to assume the presidency,” said President Akufo-Addo.
He also urged voters to carefully consider their choices in the upcoming election, adding, “On Saturday, when you cast your ballot, look closely at the elephant.”
