Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim has stated that public prayers offered at events that do not glorify God are a clear sign that many people do not truly know Him.

He explained that prayer has been reduced to a routine item on program lineups, where an “opening prayer” is offered even when the activities that follow are contrary to God’s character, making such prayers empty and meaningless.

According to him, it is contradictory to invite God through prayer into programs centered on secular music, alcohol consumption, intoxication, and sexual immorality.

He questioned the logic of asking for God’s presence and support in events that openly reject His standards, stressing that such practices reveal a deep misunderstanding of who God is and what genuine prayer represents.
