Evangelist Patricia Asiedua, widely known as Nana Agradaa, has been ordered by the Tema High Court to pay GH¢100,000 in damages to gospel musician Empress Gifty Adorye following a defamation lawsuit.
The legal battle began in May 2025, when Empress Gifty filed a GH¢20 million suit, claiming that Agradaa had made false and damaging statements about her.
Justice Janet Marfo of Tema High Court “A” approved the settlement after both parties agreed to resolve the dispute out of court.
In addition to the financial compensation, the court directed Agradaa to publicly withdraw all allegations against Empress Gifty and issue a formal apology.
The settlement effectively brings an end to the public legal dispute, closing a chapter in the long-running controversy between the two figures.
