The High Court in Accra has directed the legal teams representing Patricia Asieduaa—popularly known as Nana Agradaa—and her co-accused to formally submit the terms of a proposed plea bargain before the next hearing.

The court ruled that the agreement must be filed at least three clear days prior to the adjourned hearing on December 16, 2025.

At Tuesday’s session (December 2), state prosecutors indicated they were considering seeking a bench warrant for the second accused. However, defence lawyers countered that they had not received the necessary hearing notice. The judge subsequently instructed the Court Registry to ensure proper service before the next appearance.

Counsel for Nana Agradaa told the court that discussions with the Office of the Attorney-General regarding a potential plea deal were “far advanced” and requested a brief adjournment. The prosecution confirmed that the complainant, Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum—widely known as Osofo Biblical—was involved in the negotiations and was present in court.

The case arises from allegations that Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess now turned evangelist, shared intimate images of the complainant on her television station and social media without his consent. Prosecutors stated that the images were broadcast during a live programme where panelists mocked the complainant, in breach of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which prohibits non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

Nana Agradaa, who is serving a 15-year sentence in a separate fraud case, attended Tuesday’s proceedings.

Defence lawyers also raised concerns about recent media interviews in which the complainant allegedly commented on their client’s prison conditions. The trial judge instructed the prosecution to advise the complainant against making public statements while the case is ongoing.
