At least eight people have died and 83 others were injured after a Colombian military transport plane crashed during takeoff in Putumayo.
The incident involved a C-130 Hercules and occurred in Puerto Leguízamo, near the border with Peru.
According to Governor Jhon Gabriel Molina, the aircraft was carrying 114 passengers and 11 crew members, mostly military personnel.
Defense Minister Pedro Sánchez said the cause of the crash is still under investigation, but there is no indication of an attack.
Authorities have confirmed the aircraft was in good condition and the crew was properly trained.
