Warrant Officer Class One (WO1) Mensah Williams, the soldier seen in a viral video assaulting a pharmacy attendant and a female customer at Burma Camp, has been granted GH₵70,000 bail with two sureties by an Accra Circuit Court.
The incident occurred on October 29, 2025, at e-Pride Pharmacy, after WO1 Williams became angry over a GH₵65 refund request for medicine purchased for his son.
CCTV footage showed him physically attacking the male attendant and striking a female customer who attempted to record the altercation.
Following the assault, the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) arrested WO1 Williams on October 30, 2025, and handed him over to the Cantonments Police Station to face prosecution.
