Blow Chem Makes Headlines At Asante Queen Mother’s Funeral with Jambo Donation Bel Products

In a powerful show of loyalty and cultural solidarity, Blow Chem Industries Limited has stunned mourners and observers alike with a massive donation worth GHS 100,000 to support the funeral rites of the late Queen Mother of Asanteman, Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

With 8,000 pieces of Bel beverages, 7,500 pieces of Bel Aqua water, and 200 packs of Bel ice alcoholic drinks, Blow Chem made its presence felt at the Manhyia Palace on Tuesday, not just as a corporate entity, but as a long-standing ally of the Asante Kingdom.

Among the Bel Beverages products include Bel Aqua Active, Bel Cola, Squeeze Orange, Bel Ice, Bel Malt, Tropical, Bel Moo Milk based drinks , Tamarinda and a host of Can and Glass drinks.

The symbolic and impactful gesture was delivered through Baffour Kwame Kusi, Ankobeahene of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, with the company’s top brass in attendance including Ashanti Regional Sales Manager for Bel Aqua- Benjamin Nsiah and the Ashanti Regional Sales Manager for Bel Beverages-Alex Muah Blankson.

“This is not just a donation. This is our way of standing shoulder to shoulder with the Asantehene and all of Asanteman in this sacred moment,” said Blankson, speaking passionately to newsmen.

“We’ve been supporting the Palace for over ten years, and we’re not stopping now.”

The week-long funeral, known locally as Dote Yie, marks the final farewell to the revered Nana Konadu Yiadom III.

The rites began on Monday, September 15, 2025, and will culminate on Thursday, September 18, at the historic Manhyia Palace.

Blow Chem’s contribution has been hailed by many as a defining corporate act of respect and tradition, reaffirming the company’s deep-rooted ties to the cultural fabric of the Ashanti Region.
