Arsenal cruised into the Carabao Cup fourth round with a convincing 5-1 victory over League One side Bolton, thanks in part to teenager Ethan Nwaneri’s impressive double.

The 17-year-old, making his first senior start, scored his first two Arsenal goals and provided an assist in a standout performance.

Nwaneri’s goals came either side of Aaron Collins’ consolation for Bolton, with Raheem Sterling, Declan Rice, and Kai Havertz also on the scoresheet.
