The Adentan Circuit Court has granted bail to Evans Eshun, the 33-year-old private security guard and social media personality known as Ebo Noah.
After a period in police custody, Eshun was released on a GH₵100,000 bail with two sureties. According to his lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo, the court mandated that at least one surety be secured by a vehicle or landed property.
Case Background and Previous Remand
Eshun’s legal troubles began following his arrest earlier this year. He was remanded on January 2, 2026, by Her Honour Angela Attachie, who also ordered a psychiatric evaluation at a government facility to assess his mental health before proceedings continued.
The charges stem from a series of viral videos posted between August and December 2025 across platforms like TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. Under the handle @Ebonoah, Eshun allegedly:
- Claimed the world would end in a catastrophic flood on December 25, 2025.
- Encouraged followers to seek safety in an “ark” he claimed to be constructing.
Next Steps
The court has adjourned the case to March 18, 2026. This upcoming hearing is expected to review the results of the psychiatric evaluation and determine the next phase of the prosecution.
