Preaching in the Ability to See series on the Nkwagye Kwan radio program, Dr Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim said fornication was one of God’s teachings that worldly people and some Christians had rejected, often treating intimacy outside marriage as merely a source of pleasure.

He described fornication as a spiritual illegality with serious consequences, warning that people who engage in it expose themselves to curses from the witch or wizard they encounter who can steal their purpose, glory and blessings.

Dr Kuuku Dadzie lamented that many indulge in fornication out of ignorance, stressing that a proper understanding of the spiritual consequences would lead people to abstain until marriage.

He also criticised pastors who encouraged sexual relationships among unmarried church members, arguing that such leaders demonstrated spiritual ignorance and failed to protect their followers.

According to Dr Ephraim, Christians should be wise enough to recognise the dangers of fornication rather than celebrate a church environment where pastors permit or facilitate relationships between unmarried people.

He urged people to reject fornication, remain faithful to God’s teaching and wait until marriage before engaging in sexual intimacy, stressing that the issue should be treated with seriousness.
