In the latest edition of The Ability to See series, Dr. Kuuku Dadzie Ephraim urged believers to completely separate themselves from traditional and ancestral practices if they truly desire to walk with God.

Dr. Ephraim explained that blending the worship of God with ancestral or cultural rituals leads to spiritual confusion and hinders one’s relationship with the divine.

“You cannot serve both God and the ancestors. Divine loyalty cannot be divided,” he said.

He observed that this form of spiritual duality has become increasingly common among Africans, who often attempt to merge traditional beliefs with Christian worship. According to him, such practices not only provoke God’s displeasure but also open the door to demonic influence and attacks, since neither side accepts partial devotion.

Dr. Ephraim’s message called for total commitment and obedience to God alone, stressing that genuine faith demands a complete break from all demonic and ancestral traditions.

“True faith,” he concluded, “requires absolute spiritual separation and full loyalty to God.”
